Canon PowerShot S100 12.1 Megapixel Digital Camera is the latest and third version of the popular S-series camera. This compact point-and-shoot digital camera offers a range of features for both manual and automatic modes.

The Canon S100 has a 12.1 megapixel sensor that delivers clean and crisp images. Our Canon S100 review finds that despite a slight increase in resolution compared to its predecessor the S95, the S100 maintains the superb image quality, and is a slimmer camera than the previous model.

The S100′s fast f/2 lens captures breathtaking images even in low light; and a 5x zoom lens with a focal range of 24-120mm produces excellent near or far images.

Another intriguing feature of the Canon S100 is an in-camera GPS system. You can let your camera automatically record the local times and locations — a very useful feature for world travelers.

The battery life is somewhat short, it takes about 200 shots fully-charged. But there is notable design improvement with a small grip in front and a rubberized thumb rest in the back.
